For a limited time, players who purchased the Creeper Cape before December 7, 2024, were set to receive an early access code for the item. Later, on December 9, 2024, Mojang unveiled the “Eerie Mojang Office Party” event, repurposing the leaked Eyeblossom texture for a new “Mojang Office” cape. This version was unlocked through completing five in-game daily tasks tied to the event. The cape supports cross-platform use and was quietly integrated into Java Edition's backend files on December 7, 2024.
